Bio

I was raised in Kankakee, Ill.  You know, the train pulls out of Kankakee.  That's me.  We lived two blocks from the tracks, and I can still remember those old steam engines letting off steam.  I always felt a little out of place, don't know why, I just did.  Still do as a matter of fact.  I ran with the bad guys, Don't know why, I just did.  We weren't really bad, we just thought we were.   When all my friends were listening to Rock and Roll, I would sneak up to my room and listen to Johnny Cash.  There was just something there that grabbed a part of my soul and said this is real stuff here son. In the 60s, I fried my brain on Dylan and Leonard Cohen.  Dylan had a way of painting pictures with words and moving you emotionally with out saying a darn thing.  Thanks Bob.  Leonard Cohen was just out there talking about things most folks never dream of.  Thanks Leonard.   Any way, that's kind of where I come from, but I'm sure some day I will end up in Nashville.  "Thank God for Nashville"

The end.
